First REAL Commute from within City Limits Commute

Last night, my NEW bed was delivered to my NEW aptartment!!!!! While I still haven’t moved everything in yet (probs this weekend), I did sleep there last night. Which meant my first alarm went off at 8 instead of 6:40. And I rolled out of bed at 8:20 instead of 7:10.  Leaving the apt. at  8:40 (needed time to see my half priced bagel guy who was upset that I didn’t go in at all last week). And still got to work 15 minutes early (bc i’m a time spaz).  Thanks for the entertainment during visiting hours. So by next week I should be almost a full fledged girl in the city- oh man.

Why would Elmo want my purse?

Leaving work yesterday, I quickly turned the corner and was close to running straight into Elmo. While most people would have forgotten about this within 5 minutes, Elmo was the star of my nightly dream. In my dream Elmo put his arms around me to steal my purse. I did not like this.  Why would Elmo want my purse? I woke up very confused my my seasame inspired dream.

Late night/early morning

My standard morning bus-nap is the only thing keeping my head from hitting the keyboard. Got home last night at 1 am. Don’t worry it was for fun, even went home via train instead of the bus. Always an adventure. Interestingly the train leaves the lights on at night, which makes sense I guess. I just never thought that the reason the bus doesn’t is that it would be distracting for the driver. I just figured the lights were off because people wanted to sleep.

Holiday weekend

Hope you all enjoyed a day off (Friday). I loved rolling over at 9:25 and being at work earlier, while never leaving my bed. Of course today it was back to the bus-life. But not for long, I’ve moved half my stuff into the city! I only need a bed and I can start sleeping in the city. Not to worry though I’m sure weird thing will happen on my morning and evening subway rides.
